Roger Federer, 35

Like a fine wine, Roger Federer continues to improve his game. At 35 years old, having not played a professional match since he lost to Raonic in the sem final at Wimbledon last July, he overcame fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in FIVE SETS, to claim a place in the final of he Australian Open 2017. He won the first two sets playing aggressively before Stan had to take a ten minute medical timeout. The match then went the way of Wawrinka as he took the next two sets, before a final set decider. Roger won the final set 6-3 to tumultuous applause from the packed stands. Now he gets a few days off before Sundays final, which will be against the winner of the match between Nadal or Dimityov. This could be his final season in the game, although Venus Williams has just made the final at the age 36, and will be playing her sister, Serena, so maybe Roger might carry on playing yet. He is the best player the world has ever seen when it comes to Tennis and it will be different when he finally retires. I will be tuning into Sundays final fortunate to have seen this guy play, as Nico Rosberg might say Roger is awesome.
