Experience helps, I understand the dynamic occurring after seeing it in one form or another for the past 16 years. A younger less experienced version of me would have reacted after feeling affronted or slighted. Most definitely yes. Now as i sit here older and a little wiser and contemplate how to deal with the situation when everything shortly returns to “normal” I ponder the actual benefit of experience in this instance. What are the possible outcomes of my reacting without experience. Most likely raised voices and ultimatums casually thrown around, testosterone fuelled anger blotting out any reason, and eventually someone being blocked into a situation where the outcome could be anything from vicious vindictive words and phrases to actual bodily harm, nobody knows. Could any good come from that scenario? I doubt it.

So I relax and decide to talk tomorrow. Now I concentrate on other more immediate stuff, that is me.
